Sliver Strappy
Can I wear a white dress to a beach wedding if….?
…the dress has sliver and gold flowers on it? It’s a beach wedding, but it’s in the evening, too. The dress is summer-y, with a white background, large silver and gold flowers, and cream colored strappy sleeves. I am thinking of layering it with either a black or a cream-colored cardigan. I have tried to find other colorful summer dresses–I shopped everywhere, and this is the only dress I could find! 
Please help!
Oh, and if you do think the dress is okay, what color cardigan should I wear?
…and just to clear things up, the dress is mainly white-the flowers are on it are light. Thanks all! 
I would take a picture of it and ask the bride if it would be ok. In general, anyone wearing a white dress other than the bride is a faux pas.
