Black is back

Most of you who know me, know I'm not a big fan of the decoration that is too trendy. I encourage lean more towards a kind of timeless design with furniture pieces that have good bones in classical frameworks, so that tissues can be changed when the desire strikes. This is always a best way to invest in decorating your home to start from scratch each time.

A trend is however (I should say I am happy to see) is the resurgence of black and white. It appears that black and white trend out for a while, but then goes back. We are now seeing this type of loan attached great with lime green or hot pink in both traditional and contemporary settings. The strong contrast of black and white is elegant yet dramatic. If not sold in black and white, try adding a touch of black for decoration.

Whether you go with black and white or on a more colorful in his house the key uses colors you love and can live for awhile. Make it right, not goth look. You might make it look like a French bedroom Victorian and contemporary or very dramatic.
