Blue French

Twentieth-century American architect Phillip Johnson once said: "I hate the holidays. If you can build buildings, why sit on the beach?" Mr. Johnson is clearly not how to relax, but as another summer is slipping away, you can. Have you visited the beach this year? Would you like to have? Either way, you can create a sea feel in your outdoor space and enjoy memories of the shore at home! Here are some quick tips.

Color
The choice of color will be the biggest stress reliever in your home "beach". The soothing colors of the beach and sun-bleached sand and water washing. Think fresh and inviting water, lapping on the shore, the sand beneath your feet pale, tall, pale green beach grass, the pale pink and coral deposits, the white clouds in the blue sky.

For blue, try Kelly Moore's Essence of the Sea or Sail Away, Beauti-tone blue French, Benjamin Moore or Robin's Egg.

If you prefer to use brighter colors like bright pink candles or orange, especially in the pinstripe or small accessories.

Furniture
The beach of calls for casual wooden seating. Try folding wooden chairs with pinstripe slings color, set under the umbrella of a pale colored canvas that you supported in a large bucket of sand.

Fabric
What to wear to the beach? Canvas bags, terry towels and flip-flops. Use these fabrics for cushions, bedspreads and the seat itself. Install decorative hooks on the wall, and beach towels hanging as "art".

Pleas
Many attendees return home from beach with a collection of shells, beach rocks and pieces of colored glass smooth. If you have a collection, use to good effect in the outdoor space. Clean up your treasures by running through a cycle of the dishwasher in the cutlery basket. You can also rub baby oil on the rocks to enhance the shine that you saw under the sun on the beach.

The most obvious way to display your shells and pebbles in a clear glass bowl or jar, or a flat plate. Try to fill a plate with them and inserting a candle. Or if the shells themselves are large enough, pour candle wax around a wick in the cavity of the shell itself. The deposits can be used in tic-tac-foot attractive games, for stamping fabrics and many other purposes.

You can easily change the feel of your beach theme by the use of reason different. Perch a gull on a piece of wood covered with a piece of fisherman's net and use a lighthouse or two elsewhere in the space, and you are reminded of a coastal fishing village. Sling folding chairs, umbrella and pots of beach grass give meaning to their recreational space. Or combine the lighthouses with the silhouette of a sailboat look more urban land.

Regardless of the type of soil you prefer, use these ideas to create at home. Put on a recording of ocean waves on the sand, kick off your shoes and enjoy the beach!

What tie goes with a French blue shirt?

I am looking for a tie that matches a French blue shirt (if you know what color say, fetch up). I go with black slacks and black dress shoes but I am perplexed about the tie.

I would start with gold. It's probably the best option; on strike, but not extravagant, and strong, with both colors. If you want to play it safe with a blue ribbon, at least find a pattern for encourage the team a bit.
