3 wire electric. black red and white wire coming into a switch box. how do I light counter lites only.?
when I flip the switch ALL the lights come on. Two overhead lights and 5 undercounter lights. I want to have two different switch’s. 1 for overhead and 1 for undercounter. how do I do this. I have the switch out of the box and there is 3 wire to the switch. 1 red 1 black and 1 white.
That is a three way switch. You can’t split the lights there. Call an electrician to help you. It will be cheaper in the long run.
