Treasures of Turkey – Bodrum Peninsula
The Bodrum Peninsula has become a popular tourist destination in recent years.
There are good reasons for this popularity. With a large number of beaches that are quiet and isolated small towns filled with lots of shops, restaurants and nightlife. All this and more is among the landscape is rich in tradition and history. It is fair to say this is a terrible part of Turkey.
Yalikavak, a port city with a horseshoe bay is just one of those areas, rich in history and tradition with the belief of historians of the city dates back to at least 700 before of Christ.
But the locals have done a great job of welcoming the modern era and combines it with its origins, creating a pleasant atmosphere and welcoming, which both visitors while maintaining its heritage friendship.
Often used and clichd over the holiday period, the quiet word still applies comfortably to the town of Yalikavak and is very accurate.
Every tourist wants to know about the weather, which can be crucial for the success and the good feeling of a vacation. Yalikavak, while enjoying the great weather the rest of the region enjoys, it can also bring a extra rabbit out of his hat in the form of a wonderful breeze that gradually but persistently brushes the city, providing wind power for many water sports and refreshments for sunbathers.
